I am still not sure if I am going to go, but I will keep you all informed. My mother in-law was going to be in town, but thankfully she decided not to come. That gives me some free time, so if I can talk my wife into it, I will be there. Are cat 4 and 5 riding together? Where are you guys going to stay??? Do you know of any hotels close to the race? Fill me in if you know????

I am staying at the Embassy Suites in downtown flag. My wife and daughter are going so I find that the extra room comes in handy (place to put my bike). Not sure if 4 & 5's are riding together, but the 4s seem to have a good turnout (19 last time I checked) which should be one of the larger fields. Flagstaff is small so anywhere you stay would work - the hotels around Woodbridge are normally on the newer side. TT is NW of Flag and the RR is SE. I haven't rode either so can't give you any strategy tips. I plan on going up Friday morning to checkout out the TT course (plan on 6% grade for 6.5 miles) and then will check out the RR finish on Saturday (4% grade for 1.5 miles) which is probably where the race will be decided. I think the start lines are 10 miles and 20 miles out of flag respectively.
