Hey everyone. Troy Peterson suggested a madera canyon ride by splitting off the shoot out group at continental rd. We can leave with the early group since this is usually a long ride. If you are interested bring extra water bottles on sat. to the shoot out. Also, if anyone would like to meet at udall on sat. and head to madera via wherever ( I don't really know the eastside that well so any route suggestion would be appreciated) then make a post and set up a time and route. Maybe both groups can meet at the base or top and ride in together. See then.

If im home I will do the ride but I may start with the second group and meet up with you guys on continental or catch you on the way down.

I'm in. If anyone wants to start with the later shoot out, that would be great, we can bustanut to catch the first group. I did this a couple weeks ago with three water bottles. I stop at the convenience store in Green Vally just off Continental and filled up, then again at the store in Sahuarita. It's usually a quick stop. On the way back you guys will have to ease up a bit so I can catch up. I can't descend fast on my bike, too unstable above 40mph esp on hills and turns.

P.S. What time is the early shoot out these days? 6:15?
