Okay,
Two weeks off is too long for me. After this mornings group ride I loaded the data onto the computer. Max HR up Ajo was 198. I was *not* going all out and not too short of breath. Darn flat may have been a good thing :) and kept me from having cardiac arrest. :O

You seemed to be riding well after the ride and kicking my butt on broadway saying "huh, were putting out 600 watts" with out even breaking a sweat, meanwhile my legs are about to fall off!!!

I am signed up for the 92. I am friends with a bunch of guys from SynCardia who are planning to work together to help those who want to make Platinum before ETT. If we worked with them in the same fashion, we could possibly have a chance against the traditional winds down there to make that or better.

Hey Rich,

I'd like to ride the 157, but think I'll do what I can for the guys shooting for platinum. That's a tough route (unless your Petey!). I'm in for 92.

Looks like some rain and wind from 20-25mph from the SW on Saturday. Should make the long ride nice and cool. I don't think I'm going to be a big fan of the wind. I can ride 150 miles, but don't know if I can do it with this much headwind the last 80 miles. After you finish your warm up ride, you all better come out and give me some encouragement! Or at least drive home along 191 and flip me off as you drive by. ;)

My son's home from Ft Bliss, so am sitting Cochise out as well.

25MPH headwinds on the turn-around and rain... classic Cochise weather.

Be safe all!

That was an unpleasant extremely windy event that I don't care to repeat in the near future. 6000 calories on the calorie-meter. I was blessed by the tire gods, no flats or mechanical problems.

At least it's nice to have the escort on the home stretch.
